The miniPC 323 is the specialist for multi-display performance and device control. The characteristics it shares with the miniPC 215 include: small size and noise-less, fan-less operation with high performance. At 2.23Hz, the quick Intel® (P4800) Core2 Duo makes minimal power consumption between 10 to 20 watts possible. It has a serial port and two USB connections. The power savings pays for itself over a very short time frame in comparison with the consumption of a standard PC. The construction approach, without a fan, and the low power consumption make it possible to mount a miniPC 323 an unventilated rack. Because of its specialization, the installation of a hard disk is not possible; rather it depends on the network. Having no moving parts, it practically does not need maintenance. The supplied Windows XP Embedded operating system has been configured with drivers for internationally acknowledged Client/Server protocols like Citrix ICA, Microsoft RDP and terminal emulators.
The Device Manager software included with the delivery make remote maintenance possible, even over the Internet (XP & BIOS updates, LAN-based booting, recovery, on & off, etc).
A sturdy metal case with aluminum cooling fins and numerous connections recommend it in particular for the rigorous industrial environment. The parallel port can be added by using a USB adapter. An optional, VESA-compliant mount cradle is available for mounting on displays or wall mountings.
